The strategy behind the story.
I’ve always believed that the best content does more than look good.
It makes you feel something.
After years of creating content and building social strategies for professional sports, resorts, theme parks, travel, and experiences, I’ve seen firsthand how powerful a good story can be.
But I’ve also learned that storytelling by itself isn’t enough.
There has to be a reason behind it.
Maybe the goal is to sell more tickets.
Maybe it’s more hotel bookings.
Maybe it’s growing awareness, building a community, launching something new, or simply getting more people to pay attention.
That’s where strategy comes in.
The strategy is growth.
The story is how we get there.
That’s the idea behind The Content Arc.
So, what exactly is a “Content Arc”?
Think about the brands you actually remember.
You probably don’t remember them because they told you to buy something 100 times.
You remember how they made you feel.
Maybe a hotel made you picture the perfect weekend away.
Maybe a sports team made you feel like you were part of something bigger.
Maybe a destination made you want to pack a bag before you even realized you were being marketed to.
That’s storytelling.
And that’s what I love about social media.
We can take a business goal and turn it into something people actually want to watch, share, talk about, and remember.
The goal stays the same. The way we get there changes.
This is where The Content Arc comes in.
I created The Content Arc because I don’t want to create content just to fill a calendar.
I want to know why we’re creating it.
Who are we talking to?
What do we want them to feel?
What does the brand need to accomplish?
And how can we tell the story in a way that actually helps us get there?
That’s where strategy and creativity come together.
Strategy gives the story direction. Storytelling gives the strategy a way to connect.
And when those two things work together, content becomes more than something you post.
It becomes part of how you grow the brand.
Hi, I’m Jocelyn.
I’m the person behind The Content Arc.
A social media strategist, content creator, photographer, and storyteller with a love for finding the moments that make people stop scrolling. But more importantly, make them care.
My work has taken me across professional sports, resorts, theme parks, travel, and entertainment, creating content and social strategies for brands and experiences that have something worth sharing.
There have been cameras, campaigns, Reels, photo stories, content calendars, analytics, big wins, and plenty of lessons along the way.
But somewhere along the way, the focus became less about simply creating the content and more about understanding the story behind it.
That space between what a brand wants to say and what an audience wants to hear is where the work gets really interesting.
And that’s where The Content Arc lives.
Strategy, storytelling, and a little bit of curiosity about what makes people stop, feel, and remember.
